36         Castletown 1728/9
The last will and testament of MARGERY MORRISON 
being sick and weak in body, but perfect in mind 
and memory at the making hereof 10 January 1728/9.  
First, she recommended her soul to God 
and body to Christian burial.  
She left and bequeathed to her DAUGHTER CHRISTIAN 
CALCOT ALS MORRISON the house that her DAUGHTER 
FRISSELL lives in with the appurtenances thereunto 
belonging during her natural life and after her 
decease to her GRANDSON HENRY FRISSELL free without 
any encumbrance save only the sum of eleven pounds 
which was expended upon the said house, being due 
to HIS MOTHER FRISSELL, and leaves upon him to pay 
the same when he comes to enjoy the premises.  
Also, she left to her said DAUGHTER CHRISTIAN the 
little house called Cottier's Cellar during her 
life, and after her decease to her GRANDSON 
ANDREW FRISSELL free without any encumbrances.  
To MARMADUKE MORRISON SON she left all the 
doctor books and instruments and two guineas legacy.  
She left and bequeathed the daymath of hay which 
she bought in the Lough to her GRANDDAUGHTER 
MOLLY KENNEDY.  
She left all her wearing apparel shaped to her 
body, linen and woolen, to her GRANDDAUGHTER MARY HAMILTON.  
She left to MARY HAMILTON two guineas.  
She left to DAVID KENNEDY'S DAUGHTER KATHRINE the 
colouring pan & the big brewing pan she left to 
her GRANDSON DAVID FRISSELL and the other to her 
DAUGHTER CALCOT.  To her DAUGHTER IN LAW MARGARET[?] 
MORRISON 5 shillings.  To the poor of Castletown 
10 shillings, and cuts off all others with 6 pence legacy.  
Lastly, she constituted and appointed her 
TWO DAUGHTERS MARY AND CHRISTIAN joint Executrices 
of all the rest of her goods and effects whatsoever.

Mark Caine.
