4 Malew This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of George Gelling of Castletown who departed this life the 24 of December 1727, being in perfect memory as follows First, he did commit his soul to God and his body to Christian burial. Secondly, he told us that he former wife had left her half of the house and garden to his granddaughter, provided she took care of him, but seeing she came not over to take care of me, he did as well as he could without her. Thirdly, he did appoint his daughter and all others that might claim any right to any of his goods with six pence legacy. Fourth, He did constitute and appoint his loving wife Joney Gellin als Quay his whole Executrix of all his goods movable and unmovable only a stampt apron to his granddaughter if she came to get it. Witness present William Woods William Qualtrough, jurati. The Executrix sworn in Court in form of Law & gave pledges Wm Cubbon & Henry Quayle. Probatum est & solvit 1s
