The last Will of Ann Quine als Crain 
who was buried the 9th of Novr 1729, 
being in good mind and perfect memory 
at the making, after having committed 
her soul to God and body to Christian 
burial, disposed of all her worldly 
concerns as followeth.  
Item, she left to her sister of Arylveen[?] 
a petticoat and suit of linens.  
Item, to John Karran’s poor daughter a 
suit of clothes.  
Item, to her husband Gilnow Quine the 
riding horse.  
Item, to her daughter Jane her part of 
the household stuff with all her linen 
and woolen clothes, shaped or unshaped, 
except the legacy before mentioned.  
Item, she nominated and appointed her son 
John and the said Jane Quine joint 
executors of all the rest of her goods, 
cattle, horses, sheep, and goats with 
all her other goods not disposed of.  
Item, she cut off all claimers in her 
goods with six pence apiece legacy. 
Witnesses: 
Christian Caine, 
Ellinor Clague, jurati.  

Christian Cain one of the within witnesses 
sworn, the other to be sworn.  
John one of the Executors sworn in form of Law.   
Ellinor Clague the other witness sworn March 13, 1729/30.

Proved this 3rd day of February 1729. 
The husband’s will proved also the same day.  
Pledges Thomas Clague and .... Caine according to Law.            

June the 1st 1730
William Cannon enters a claim against the 
Executors of Gilnow Quine and his wife Ann 
Quine als Caine for the sum of five pounds, 
and craves the Law
