The Will and Testament of Wm Callow of the Crowcreen in KK
Maughold who Dyed on Septembr ye 24th 1732 Being of Good and perfect
memory he Comitted his soul to God and his Body to Christian Buriall.
Ittem he Left and Bequeathed to his Dear & Loveing Wife Ann Callow the one
halfe of his Estate of Lands & Houses during her Natural life time is she
will tarrey there: Ittem he Left all the Sheep that was Named to all his Child:
:ren to every one of them as they were formerly called; and the remainder of
his ffould Sheep (his part) to the former wife’s Children to be in full for
what fell and became due to them by their Mothers Decease & if His said
Children be not sattisfied therewith that his present Wife Ann Callow
& his [word scratched out] Eldest son Jon Callow should have the sayd sheep and
pay the Children’s Goods afforementioned Ittem he Left all his mountain
sheep to his Daughter Jane Callow save only one Choice Sheep or Mutton to
his son Wm Callow: Ittem he left to his daughter Marjory a young Brown
Maire Ittem he left to his son and Heyre the one halfe of the Cropp & of
the Beasts he had to his [Teime?]: Lastly he Nominated and appointed his afforesd
son John Callow ^ Exr of all the rest of his Goods moveable and unmoveable whatso:
:ever and the sayd John Callow to pay to his Daughter Jane Callow the Sum
of Twenty shills : to be payd her when she comes of Age & the Wool that
was within he left to be Cloase for his ^ 3 Children. yt was within: & six
pence Leggassey apiece to every one yt would Crave to brook this his last
Will. Ittem his afforesd Wife Ann Callow gave her Consent to Leave
her part of the Cropp [Teime] & Husbandry Gears after her Decease or
when she Leaves the Sayd Estate ^ to ye heir Ittem he left to the Wittnesses hereof
six pence apiece:

The Witnesses further declare tht the
Testar left to his wife a small Chest wch
she brought there together wth her Linnen
& Woolen clothes that are shap’d
Probatum & Solvit 12s The Execr Sworn in Court in form of
Law ~ And gave pledges the Witnesses of
the Will ~
The Widow declares in Court that her Consent to
this Will is on Condition, that She is to enjoy
the Benefits of the Land either during her life
or whilst she remains in the Estate
Octr 16. 1733 Capt. Jo. Oates enters a claim
