Jurby, 1733
The last will & testament of Ellinnor Curlett als Lawson who departed
this life the 9th of May 1733 being sick in body but perfect in mind
and memory at the makeing hereof. First she committed her soul to God
and her body to Christian buriall. Item, she left to her brother
Edward Lawson the chest that was next to her bed side. Item, she left
to Joney Lawson ye flannell blankett she used to wear about her
shoulders. Item, she left to Wm Freer's wife a choice pladding petty=
coat. Item, she left to Bahy Kneal als Lawson a waste-coat of a gown
and a lace hand kerchiff. Item, she left to Anne Curlet als lawson
her hood and a little wheell. Item, she left to the sd Anne Curlett
and to Bahy Quirck als Lawson all ye rest of her shaped clothes equally
betwixt them. Item, she left to her sister Mary a tub of dry corn and
that she was not to be hindred in getting her own clothes left in the
house, also her own flax when so ever she will come for them. Item.
she left 6 pence to each ye wittnesses of her will. Lastly, she
constituted and appointed her husband Daniel Curlett sole Exer
of all the rest of her goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever.
