This is affirmed to be the last will of Elizabeth
Martin als Tear of Knock y Doonee, who deprted
this life the 12th of May 1734, being of good mind and
sound memory at the making thereof.
First she comitted her soul to God & her body to
Christian burial. Item she left & bequeathed to her
brother John Tear thirty shills legacy. Itm she left
to her bror Wm Tear thirty shills legacy. Item
she left to her brother James Tear thirty shills
legacy as also to her brothr Pat: Tear thirty shills
legacy and a legacy of thirty shillings to her
sister Catharine together with her little spinning wheel,
and her .... blew riding hood. Item she left and
bequeated to Cath: Lawson her sister's daughter the sum
of ten pounds of the money in Close ny Kella, to be
paid unto her after the decease of her husband Jon Martin;
she further left to her sd neice a black & white petticoat to be
a .... for her, & the remainder of the stuff of her green gown
she likewise left for the use of her sd neice, as also her own
little chest. Item she left to her nephew Jon Lawson 15 shills
towards putting him to a trade; and required her husband to give
Dick Lawson some cloaths that being wt he mostly stood in need of
Item she left her old brown hood to her brors wife vizt Jony Tear als Sayle
She left an old petticoat to Wm Quirk's wife. an old petticoat to Marg
the wife of James Faragher. She left to the two daughters of Balla choo
a petticoat apiece & a suit of linnen to each of the (but as Jony Shimmin
one of the Witnesses declares, she left a garmt to each of them
She left to Alice Quirk a petticoat & a suit of linnen & to Jony Shimmin
a petticoat & suit of linnens. To Alice of Balla Cunner she left
a sute of linns & to Cath: Tear a petticoat & a sute of linnen.
To Triny Quirk (Cath: Tear one of ye witnesses being only present) she
left a petticoat & a sute of linnens. To the witnesses of her will
she left 14d each & some few linnes to Jony Mr Sayle's daughter
requiring there not be no strife among them touching the division of her linnens.
And the remainder of all the rest she left to her neice Cath: Law=
son, because she stood in most need of it. Lastly she nom=
inated and appointed her Loving husband John Martin sole
& whole Exetr of all the rest of her goods moveable & immo-
veable whatsoever.

himself & his Bror John Tear also Cath: Lawson als Tear
the Bros & sister of the decedntt Elbth Martin als Tear, together
wth John Lawson nephew of the Testartix have now ...
fully paid & satisfyd in the legacy vizt 30s each
to ye Brors & 15s to Jon Lawson left him by the last will
of Elizth Martin als Tear, by John Martin the Extr therin mentioned
whereupon they the sd Legatees do for themselves & their Extr acquit the
sd John Martin & his Extr of the same for ever. Before me
