23       Michael
The last will and testament of PHILIP QUIGGIN 
of the parish of KK Michael deceased, who being 
of perfect mind and memory at the making hereof.  
Imprimis, He committed his soul to God and 
his body to Christian burial.  
Item, He left and bequeathed to his NEPHEW 
JOHN QUIGGIN (vizt., his BROTHER WILLIAM'S SON) 
a colt and heifer, which was in his BROTHER 
WILLIAM's keeping, likewise the feather bed 
and clothes whereon he lay at the same time 
he left his said NEPHEW JOHN QUIGGIN, as 
also a waistcoat or vest of Loughtan cloth.  
Item, He left to his two NIECES ELIZABETH 
AND ISABEL QUIGGIN a sheep each, and to 
his NEPHEW THOMAS QUIGGIN a sheep likewise.  
Item, He left to his SISTER IN LAW MARGARET 
QUIGGIN ALS TAYLOR a blanket which was in 
GILBERT CLERK's custody.  
Item, He left to his BROTHER ROBERT'S SON 
(vizt., ROBERT QUIGGIN) his medley coat.  
Item, He left to his two NIECES CHRISTIAN 
& JONEY QUIGGIN a chest and blanket between 
them, which was in their mother's custody.  
And to THEIR BROTHER JOHN QUIGGIN (vizt., 
PATRICK'S SON) a sheep and a lamb.  
Item, He left fourteen pence each to the 
witnesses of this his last will.  
And lastly, he nominated and appointed 
his three BRETHREN WILLIAM, ROBERT, & 
JOHN QUIGGIN equal and sole Executors over 
all the rest of his effects moveable and 
immoveable whatsoever.

John Caine, 
Christian Kewley.      

THE EXECUTORS SWORN IN COURT in form 
of Law and gave pledges, John Cannon Ballana, 
& Dollin Cain Sumner.  
Probatum est & Solvit 12 pence
