In the name of God Amen. the last will and 
Testament of Jane Bridson als Bell She being 
in perfect mind and memory at making of the same. 
She first Committed her soul to God and her body 
to Christian Burial, 
Itm. She left and bequeathed to her son John Bridson 
three pounds and a boul of moat Corn- 
Itm. She left and bequeathed to her Son Willm. 
Bridson twenty shillings.
Itm. She left and bequeathed to her Son Thos. Bridson 
five or six shillings. 
Itm. She left and bequeathed to her daughter Ann -  
Bridson five or six shillings. 
Itm. She left and bequeathed to her 
daughter Isable Bridson five or six shillings. 
Itm. She left and bequeathed to her Son Nichs. 
Bridson 2 shillings and eleven pence. 
Itm. She left and bequeathed to Ann Bridson one 
of her grand-Children a calf done with his milk,  
Itm. She left and bequeathed to her granson John 
Hoags (Quay?) two pounds to be paid to him when he 
is 20 years of age and two parts of the sheep she has now in 
Cragneish and half of a heiffer that is in the Keeping 
of Thos. Goan (Gawn?) of KK Malew and a piece of linin 
Cloth for Shirts for him; and like-
wise She declared that if any of her four gd. Children 
should be displeased with what she had done that she 
debarr’d them from having any more of her goods but 
sixpence legacy. Lastly She nominated 
and appointed her Loving daughter Jane Bridson als Brew 
whole Exetrix of all the rest of her goods as well moveable as 
Immoveable whatsoever.
