KK Arbory 1736
This is Affirmed to be the Last Will
& Testament of Jane Qualtrough als Kelly
of the Parish of KK Arbory who Departed this
Life abt the Latter …. of Decbr Last past
being in mind & memory at the making
thereof. First she committed her soul unto God
and her body to Christian burial.
Itm She Left her eldest son Wm her Right of
the miln & crofts together with her Right
of the house and Gardin. The sd Wm paying his
two sisters Alice & Elinnor the sum of 30 shillings
equally betwixt them when the miln comes
to his hands and able to pay the same. Itm: She
left her son Hen her Right of the Land in Balla
Kellpatrick with about … of Otes and six Kioshen? Of
barley and half a heifer. Itm she Left her two
Daughters Alice and Elinnor 40 shillings a piece
besides all the shews & cloths of linen & woolen and
and all what wools and flax there is in the House to
be Equally betwixt the 3 Children viz. Hen, Alice
& Elinnor. Then left her 2 daughters Elinnor and
Alice her Right of the Intack Excepting a Days
plowing she Levs her son Hen. Itm: She left her
Loving husband Jon. Qualtrough her Right to the
Land for ye Term of Ten Years. He maintaining and
Taking Care of the Children During sd Term.
and Lastly constituted & appointed her Loving
Husband Sole Executor of the Rest of her Goods
moveable & imoveable whatsoever as wittness our
names to our marks this 8th of Febry 1736.

NB John Qualtrough, Jane Qualtrough als Kelly’s husband died in 1762 at Rushen.
30th Octr 1762 This day Henry Qualtrough son of the within
named Testatrix Jane Qualtrough als Kelly & acknowledged that he
hath recd from John Cashin Husband of his sister Eleanor as also from
his sister Alice Qualtrough who was Exectr of the Last Will &
Testament of their late Decd father John Qualtrough their sd
Mother’s Execr all & every the several Legacies bequeathed unto
him the said Henry Qualtrough in & by the Last Will & Testament
of his sd Decd mother Jane Qualtrough & doth hereby acquit
release & discharge the sd John Cashin & Alice Qualtrough their
Execrs, Adminrs & Assigns thereof for ever.

30th Oct 1762 This day John Cashin Husband of Eleanor Cashin
als Qualtrough daughter of the within named Testatrix Jane
Qualtrough als Kelly came to the Registry and acknowledged that
he hath received from William Qualtrough his Brother in law
son of the within named Testatrix Jane Qualtrough his sd wife
Eleanor’s part of the thirty shillings which was bequeathed to
his said wife Eleanor by the Testatrix her mother & payable
unto her by her said Brother William Qualtrough and he the said
John Cashin doth hereby acquit release & discharge the said
William Qualtrough his Excrs, Adms & assigns thereof (being the
sum of fifteen shillings) for ever.
