52 Ballaugh, 1737
This is affirmed to be the last Will of Daniel ~
Bodaugh who departed this Life about the 7th.of
March, Anno predicto, being in perfect Mind and
Memory at the making hereof. Ffirst, He commit:
:ed his Soul to God and Body to Christian Burial.
Item. He bequeath'd to his Child, Robert Bodaugh
the Sum of ffour Pounds together wth.the Pan as
Legacy, he paying the Sum of Eight Pounds unto the
Child wch.paid the Legators Supposed to be on his
Wife's Bearing, when he the Said Robt.Should en:
Joy or receive the Lands. Item, He asked his
Said Wife Elinor Bodaugh als Quayle, if She was
Willing to give the Up:Croft to the Sd.Child Robt.
to wh.she ? answered, She war:and further asking
her if She gave her consent hereunto, She replied,
She did. Item, He left the Lands to his Said Wife for
one and Twenty years. And Nominated and consti:
tuted her Sole Exrx.of all the Rest of his Goods;
and in case the foresaid Children should dye, that their
Goods Should return unto her. Item. He put of all
Persons that Could claim a Right to his goods wth.
Six pence, Legacy. And left to the Witnesses hereof
Six pence each.

Will in Form of Law

At a Chapter Court in KK Michael~ May~30th.1738,
The Exrere.Sworn in Court in forsaid of Law ~ and Consents
to Settle her part of the Up:Croft within:mentioned wholy upon her
Son Robt.or any othr.Child she may ? to the Testator
after her Decease, reserving the benefit thereof to herself
during his Life ~

Margt.Bodaugh the Aunt Sworn Supervisor ~
The Widow Consents that provided she may have the Benefit
of the pann untill Robt.comes to Lawfull years ~ she does ~
then deliver her part thereof to be wholy enjoy'd by her
sd.Son vizt.wh.he comes to Age, Wch.the Court looked upon
to be for the Childs Advantage ~ And therefore ~
the Pan is not to be Inventory'd ~
