This is affirmed to be the Last Will & Testament
of Cath Qualtrough als Hinley who Departed
this Life 24th Dec 1737, who was then
of perfect memory & namely –
First: She committed her soul to God and her
Body to Christian burial.
Itm : She left to her Son William as much
Flasu?? yarn as would make a licking? or
Bed; Itm She left to her Daughter Ann
a bag of Feathers to help make a bed
which were then in her house, wth all her
weaving (or wearing) apparel both linnen & wollen and
all the sow…..that…. then in her house Saving
one Dish, that she left to her son John, and a
isarwell?? of Flax undr…..that was likewise in ye
house. Itm She left to the rest of her
household goods viz…. her Share equally
betwixt her three Childrn Jno, Wm & Ann
Qualtrough, Itm She left all her goods moveable
and immoveable to her husband Wm Qualtrough
during his life, and afterwards according to his
own disparelle; this is what we the certifii
as witnesses our names and marks this first
