43          KK Braddan
The last will and testament of Ann Hampton 
als Scarfe of KK Braddan who departed this 
life about Janry 2nd 1737.  
Imprimis, she being at perfect memory bequeath 
her soul to God and her body to a holy 
Christian burial yard.  
Item, she bequeathed unto Ellin Sansbury and 
unto her brother Richard Scarfe’s daughter 
all her clothes and linen equally betwixt them.  
Item, she left unto Ellin Sansbury aforesaid 
one sheep and a lamb.  
Item, she left unto her son William Hampton 
two pewter dishes and desired her husband not 
to strive with him about them because they 
were bouth with his own christening money.  
Item, she left unto her husband her part of 
the horse.  
Lastly, she left unto her dear son William 
Hampton all the rest of her goods whatsoever.

 Eliz Gellin, juratie.       
 The Executor sworn in Court in form of Law.  
 Pledges are John Hampton the father and 
 Thomas Hampton.
