          Ballaugh 49. 

This is affirmed to be the Last Will & Testament of 
John Cannel of the parish of Ballaugh who Departed this 
life about yl.Eight day of March last being Sound in 
perfect Mind & Memory at Making of the Same ~ 
First he Committed his Soul to Almighty God & his 
Body to Xtian Burial 
Itm He left to his Three Sons viz. Pat Cha& Will 
Cannel all ye. Sheep he had in Barnegary Equally 
betwixt Them as Legacy \snd yl.They were to give 
M~Woods a Choise Mutton in part of the Money 
Due to him 
Lastly He Nominated and appointed his Son ChaCannel 
his true and Lawful Excer.of all the rest of his Goods 
Moveable & Immoveable of what Nature so Ever.
