The last Will of Margaret Cannel als Killey who departed 
this life about yl.12th.day of January last past being of perfect 
Mind and Memory it in Manner following 
First 
she commited her Soul to God Almighty and her body to christian 
buryal Item she left to her daughter Mary Cannel half an 
heiffer and as much wrought flax as she had and as much of 
wollen yarn as she had in her chist.except one pound of 
linnin yarn that she hadt.as Legacy. Item she left an Earling 
or sheep of two years old to her two grand children viz.Jon.Cannel 
and Margt.Cannel and two Knifes to her sd.Grand Daughter as 
legacy. It. she left to her Grand Son viz. Willm.Cannel half 
an Ewe he having the other half of her before in legacy. It she 
left to her Daughter in law viz Cath Cannel als Christian a 
red petty Coat and her riding hood, she was willing yl.sd.Cath 
should have it. It she left to her Grand Daughter Margarett 
Cannel a pound of Linnin yarn and half of the lamb she 
gave her before the other half of him as Legacy. Item she 
left a Mug of Butter equally between her Son Jon.Cannel 
and her Son Pat Cannel as legacy, and a Barrel to her son 
Jon.and a Barrel to her Daughter Mary, and al her shaped 
linnins and two wooden dishes she bought herself them. 
Item to her Daughter Cathrin Christian before named a 
Canvasand to her God Son viz.Tho Quayle, a shirt as 
legacy. Item to Alice Cannel a pound of wool as legacy. Item 
lastly she nominated and Appointed her Son John Cannel; Pat 
Cannel and Mary Cannel joynt Exrs.of all the rest of her 
goods whatsoever and this in yl.prefence of us whose names 
are here written Febry.19th.1738
