The last will and testament of Katherine Tear
als Curlett who departed this life the 7th
day of January 1738, being sick in body but
perfect in mind and memory at the making hereof.
First, She committed her soul to God and
her body to Christian Buriall.
Item, She left to her stepdaughter Mary Tear
half of the wooll and flax and her shaped clothes
woolen and linen, and the sd Mary to take care
of her daughter Margt.
Item, She left to her husband all her part
of the goods nad her sd husband to take care
of her children, and to pay the debts.
Lastly, She constituted appointed her sd loving
husband sole Execr of all the rest of her goods
moveable and immoveable whatsoever.

Margt Cristery her mrk X,
Alice Cristery her mrk X, jurati.
James the eldest child has surrendered his part
to his father. The tuition of the children
committed to the Testatrix’s husband who has
engaged in Court to give the 2 children underage
viz., Margt & Philip ten shillings apiece, which
he declares upon oath to be more than their
proportion, when all debts are pd as the Attorney
Genl. believes.
