KK Bride 1739
This is afirmed to be the last will and testament of
Baheey Corkish als Moore of the parish of KK Bride who depart
ed this life the 13th May 1739 being in perfect mind and
memory at the makeing of the same.
Imprs She committed her soul to God, and body to Christian
burial. She left and bequeathed to her daughter Mary
Blackburn in the City of Doubline a sheet and sixpence legacy.
She declared that there was three pounds due to her from
her son in law James Dawson of Peele, of which sum of
three pounds she left 10 shillings to her daughter Christian Dawson
together with a petty coat and six pence legacy, she further
declared, that at the Division of two big Chests which was betwixt
her and the siad James Dawson, that there was two shiling 6d
difference betwixt the two chests - which two shillings 6 pence she own'd
to be due from her to her said son in law James Dawson.
Itm She left to her daughtrs Joney Elizth and bahey six pence
leagacy apiece to each of them. Itm She ordered her daughter
Anne Cowle to give such part of her wearing cloase as she
then named to poor Jon Cottier's wife. Itm to the witnesses of
her will sixpence each. Itm she declared that there was
some money due to her from two persons, whose names the Exectrx
is not willing to mention her, they having already agreed with her
for the same. Lastly She constituted nominated and appointed
her daughter Anne Cowle als Corkish sole Executrx of all
the rest of her goods and effects movable and immovable
whatsoever.
