73      Ballaugh
The last will and testament of Michael Cross of the parish of Ballaugh who
departed this life about the 29th of January 1739 being of perfect mind and
memory but sick of body at the makeing thereof.
First He committed his soul to God and body to a Christian burial.  He left
to his only daughter Ann Cross as legacy -------- shillings a gray sheep of
two years old as much as would make her a shirt of close of the stuff his
wife was going to make; also he bequeathed to his little son Wm a gray
yearling , likewise he left to his loving wife his own close if she would
wear them moreover he left what corn and victuals was in the house towards
the maintainence of his wife and two children under age for this year.
Lastly he constituted and ordained his two oldest sons John and Michael
Cross whole executors of all the rest  of his goods moveable and unmoveable
whatsoever.

Michael one of the executors nominated by the testator being since dead -
John the other executor as also the executor of Michael aforesaid is sworn
in court in form of law.
