This is affirmed to be the last will and testament 
of Cath. Bridson als Quay of the parish of KK Malew, 
who departed this life the 24th of March 1739, 
being in perfect memory at the making hereof, but 
sick and weak in body.  
Imprimis, she committed her soul to God, and 
her body to Christian burial.  
Item, she nominated and constituted her loving 
husband Cuthvert Bridson sole executor of all 
her goods moveable and immoveable of what kind 
soever, debarring all friends and relations 
with six pence legacy each that would claim 
any right or title to any part or parcel of her 
effects whatever and he to use her sister’s 
daughter Sarah Bridson as he thought fit, and 
all this in presence of us, 
Eliz. Carran my X, 
Anne Shimmin my X, juratae.           

At a Chapter Court held at Castletown Nov. 4th 1741
The Executor is sworn in Court in form of Law and 
hath give pledges Thomas Cowley of Castletown & 
John Carran of Arbory.
