Willm Costean departed this life about the beginning of February ­ 1740 --
Intestate­ The Court upon Intelligence thereof hathe Decreed his three
[children] viz: Ewan Daniel and Marriod joint Adminrs of all his goods ­
moveable and Immoveable whatsoever ­ whereupon Ewan and Daniel aforesd with
John Kelly husband of Marriod are Sworn in Court in form of Law and gave
pledges viz: Edw: Sayle and Philip Cane ­ both of Douglas
