Ballaugh 1742
This is affirmed to be the last will of Patrick Cry,
who departed this life on the 2nd May
Anno Predieto-----
Having, in perfect mind and memory,
commanded his soul to God and body
to Christian burial , he bequeathed
to his son in law James Fayle a -----
of two year old, and to his son in law
Thomas Cowley a half of a -Quarter---- old,
and his shaped Cloaths to them jointly,
excepting two pair of Brooches he left
to his brother in law John Cowley .
To his granddaughter Anne Fayle his
part of a sheep and lamb in partnership
twixt him and Alice Brow and a sheep and
lamb in partnership Twix him and Nich.- ----.
To the witnesses hereof one sheep each-
And sixpence to every person that can
legally claim any right to his effects
And lastly he nominated and constituted
his loving wife Joney Cry sole executrix
of the rest of his goods moveable and immoveable.
