The last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Radcliffe 
als Sayle who departed this life about the 21st of 
June 1743 being in perfect mind and memory at the 
making thereof:
First committed her soul to God and Body to Christian burial.
Item She left to her eldest son John a quarter of 
the crop of corn with her share of all the husbandry 
geare an ___  a sheep and lamb, when he takes the land.
Item She left 4 pounds equally betwixt the other 
three children viz. Jony, Wm, and Catherine.
Item She left to Jony the little wheel and all her 
cloth Both woolen and linnen to her 2 daughters Jony 
and Catherine betwixt them to clothe them and to 
her daughter Catherine s aheep, and that all the 
foresaid legacys is to be paid unto her respectively 
as they shall come to age and _____   for their right, 
lastly she nominated and appointed her loving husband 
sole exec of all the rest of her goods moveable
and immoveable what nature so ever and the children’s 
goods to the tuition of their father till they come 
to age  and to take care of them in all things 
necessary and to the witnesses of her will six 
pence a piece legacy.

and the tuition of the children and their goods 
pursuant to the will is committed unto him 
he has given pledges namely Wm Radcliffe Curragh
