The Last Will and Testament of Margaret
Corrin als Quay who being sick and infirm, but of perfect memory
Committeth her Soul to God & her Body to Christian burial at what
time soever Almighty God shall be pleased to call for her. March 5th 1745.
She bequeathed to her eldest daughter Margaret Corlett als Corrin a boull of Mault & a white pettycoat, a purple pettycoat & the oldest of her
Rideing hoods, & the Mault aforesd to be given them again Christmas
next ensuring and this to be her Legacy.
She bequeathed to her son Richard a bowll of Mault and this is his Legacy
She bequeathed to her daughter Elizabeth a Mant and pettycoat
of Black [..….]and a green petticoat.
She bequeathed to her daughter Anne a goune of …. And white
and a petticoat of white and blou.
She bequeathed to her daughter in law Isable Corrin als Quaggin a choice checquerd apron.
She bequeathed to her son Edward her half of the house and gard=
=en & the boat, & if in case that he dyeth without issue that then
& in that case the house & garden her right of them is to descend
to her youngest daughter Anne & if the dyeth without issue
that then the house and garden is to descend to her daughter Elizabeth
and if she dyeth without issue it is to descend to the next of kindred
and likewise all the Goods that is menchioned his own he is to have
moveable and immoveable. Likewise his father bequeathed and joyns
with his loving wife in the house and gardens and wills his half of
them to his son Edward after his decease and to descend as is
afore menchioned.
She bequeathes to her son John and her son William sixpence Legacy each.
[…..] she bequeathes to her loving husband the half of what feather
bed he likes best and likewise his choice of the boulster he likes.
Lastly she Constitutes, Nominates and Appoints her three children Elizabeth,
Anne and Edward whole executors of all the rest of the goods and
chattels, moveable and unmoveable whatsoever.

At a Chapter Court held at Castletown Oct 22nd 1745.
The Executors are sworn in Court in form of Law and have given
pledges viz. John Shimmin – Margaret Corrin – John Corrin the
husband also consents to the several articles as more fully
exp…… the within Will.
