Harry Qualtrough having left the Island about
fourty years ago – and there being no …. (contact?) of him
for about twenty five years since – is therefore
presumed to have departed this Life Intestate.
The Court upon Intelligence thereof Decrees his
Sister of the whole ……….. (there being no other
near Relation within the Div….namely – Christian
Gell als Qualtrough administratrix of all his Goods
and Chattels moveable and Immoveable whatsoever –
her husband being ………. & not able to appear
said Christian is thereupon sworn in Court to bring
to the R…. and Inventory of the Goods as she can
discover the same for payment of Debts according to
Law. Pledges are James Waterson & Thos Cooil
