In the name of God Amen
I James Kewley of the Parish of Kk Lonan being sick and weak in Body and
knowing the uncertainty of this transitory Life and the certainty of Death
being of a sound Desposing mind and memory Do make this my Last will and
testament
First I commit my soul to God who gave it and my Body to a christian
Burial And as to my worldly affects I Dispose of in manner following
I Leave and Bequeath unto my Brother John Kewley my Estate of Land called
the Lhargy veg being Intack in the parish aforesd together with seventy
pounds British
I Leave my watch to John Kewley Junr son to the aforesd John Kewley
I Leave my Black best [Cl]oath to My aforesd Brother John Kewley
I Leave thrityfive pounds to my sister Elenor White. I Leave twenty pounds
to my Brother Philip Kewley.
I Leave five pounds to the poor of the parish. I Leave twenty shillings
to the christian missionary society for spreading the gospel. I Leave ten
shillings to the primitive Methodest missionary society for the same
purpose. I Leave six pence legacy to any person or persons that may claim
in this my will.
Lastly I revoking all other wills heretofor all word or intention uttered
Declaring this to be my Last will and testament and nomenating and
appointed my beloved Brother William Kewley whole and sole Executor of all
the rest of my goods and chattles money Bonds Bills notes and all of
whatever nature of Denomination soever
