The last will and testament of John Quirk of 
Lamel in the parish of KK German, March 30, 1747. 
First he committed his soul to God and 
body to Christian burial. 
Item, he left to his son John the fur 
chest, a sheet, bolster and bed clothes 
with half a heifer and four sheep. 
Item, she left to his grandson John Quirk 
a sheep and lamb. To his granddaughter 
Ann Shimin a lamb. 
Item, he left to his wife the bed he lay on. 
Item, he left to his son Philip a quarter 
part of the crop or if his son William was 
a mind to keep it, that he is to pay Philip 
two pounds ten shillings. Lastly, he 
nominated and appointed his son Philip 
sole Executor of all the rest of his 
goods moveable and immoveable, excluding 
all claimers with six pence legacy. 
He left to the minister of the Parish a mutton.

The Executor is sworn in Court in form of 
Law and hath given pledges for payment of 
debts & legacies, vizt., William Quirk
