88      KK Bride, March the 8th 1747/8
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of 
BAHEE HOWLAND ALS COWLE who departed this life about 
the 24th February last, being of perfect mind and 
memory at the making the same.  First she committed 
her soul to God and her body to Christian burial.  
Item, she left to her SISTER JONEY COTTER he riding hood.  
Item, she left to her STEPDAUGHTER CATHRINE HOWLAND a 
gown, a petticoat, a suite of head clothes and an apron.  
Item, she left to ANN LACE her little wheel.  
Item, she left to MARGARET HOWLAND one shilling.  
Item, she left to HESTER COTTER an apron.  
Item, she left all the rest of her clothes to her 
TWO CHILDREN to clad them.  
Lastly she nominated & appointed her loving HUSBAND 
JOHN HOWLAND sole Executor of all the rest of her 
goods whatsoever and to take due care of her TWO 
CHILDREN JAMES AND JANE HOWLAND.

Margret Howland, jurati.            

THE EXECUTOR IS SWORN in Court in form of Law.  
He undertakes the maintenance of the CHILDREN 
and has given pledges vizt., Patrick Howland 
& John Howland.  
DANIEL COTTIN THE UNCLE is sworn overseer.
