This is affirmed to be the Last Will and Testament of John 
Gellin of KK Maughold who departed this life about ye 28th 
of January 1748/9, Being of good & perfect memory. 
Imp's. He committed his Soul to God & Body to Christian Buryal.  
It. He left and bequeathed to any person or persons what=
soever that wou'd Claim any Right to his Goods six pence 
pence Legacy each; Lastly, He did Constitute and appoint his 
loveing Wife Joney Gellin alias Brew, whole & sole 
Executrix of all the Rest of his Goods & Chattels of 
what Nature or Denomination soever.

              At a Chapter Court at Lezayre May 30th 1749 
              The Exec'x sworn in Court in form of Law
