This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Jaine Cross who
departed this life about the 3rd day of February 1749.  Being in perfect
mind and memory at the making hereof.
First she committed her soul to God her Creator and her body to
Christian burial.
Secondly she left to her executors youngest children Michael, Isabelle
and Jane five shillings each.
She left to her daughter Cathrine a black petticoat and a sheep and the
big wheel after her father's death.
She further left to her daughter Isabelle a black gown and a sheep and to
her daughter Jane a sheep and to her son Michael a sheep.  She left to her
son John her share of a blanket.
Lastly she nominated and appointed her loving husband sole executor of
all the rest of her goods moveable and immoveable of what nature
soever.
She left to the witnesses of her will six pence each.

The executor is sworn in court in form of law he is also together with
his son John Cross sworn overseer of the children under age who are in their
fathers tuition.  Pledges form of law vizt Ro: Corlett Smith and Thomas
