The last will and testament of Willm Corkan of parish of KK Michael
made uttered and declared before us ye witnesses hereafter mentioned upon or
about the first of March A.D. 1747. He being of perfect mind and memory at
the making hereof in manner and form as hereafter specified. First He
committed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial. Item: He left
and bequeathed to his eldest son Willm Corkan all his land, vizt
the crofts he then lived in.
Item: He left to his youngest son Patrick Corkan twenty shillings as
legacy towards putting him to some trade.
Lastly He nominated constituted and appointed his loving wife Ellinor Corkan
als Kelly whole and sole executrix of all the rest of his goods moveable and
immoveable of what nature and kind soever, cutting off and debarring all
other person or persons claiming to the contrary hereof
with six pence legacy.

At a Court of Correction held at KK Michael Feb 24 1750.
The executrix sworn in court in form of law and has the tuition and
goods of the youngest son committed unto her. She has given pledges for
payment of debts and legacies as also for forth coming of said childıs
legacy namely Patrick Crellin and William Gell the witnesses of the will.
