The last Will & Testament of Eleanor
Carine als Qualtrough who departed this Life
August 21st 1753.
First she commended her soul to God and her
body to Christian burial.
Itm. She bequeathed to her loving husband a quarter
of a heifer.
Itm. She bequeathed to her daughter Anne Carine a
big wheel & a single little wheel, a riding-hood and as
much of the stuff as was in the house as might be, a
petticoat; and if she was not satisfied with that she cut
her off with sixpence legacy.
Lastly she left all the Rest of her Goods moveable and
immoveable to her two daughters Eleanr & Catherine Carine,
and as her said two daughters were not in a condition to
attend the Court to be sworn Execrs she will’d and ordered
that her said husband, John Carine should be sworn Execr.
in their behalf.

At a Chapter Court at Castletown Octr 31st 1753
John Carin (sic) the husband is pursuant to the Will
sworn Execr. in trust in behalf of his Daughters,
Ellinor & Catherine and hath given pledges
for payment of Debts & Legacys vizt. Willm
Crejeen & Richard Harrison the Witnesses
of the Will.
