      KK Lonan Octor 15th 1751

Thomas and Catherine Scarffe Children 
of John Scarffe, of the above Parish, late De[ceased] 
having certain Goods due to them by the 
last will & testamt of their sd Decd father 
secured under pledges in the Episcop Registry 
viz in Lib: 1mo 1748 – departed this Life 
in their minority in the month of Janry 
last past.  The Court having Intelligence 
thereof hath Decreed their only Brother 
John Scarffe sole Admin of all their Goods 
& Effects moveable & immoveable whatsoever 
who being under age he with his Goods is 
Comitted to the Tuition of his mother 
& his uncle Philip Scarffe is sworn Supervisor.

The funeral charges of Catharine Scarfe & Thos Scarfe 
of KK Lonnan who departed this Life in [spring] Last year 
1750/1 in the small pox is as followeth

To: Coffins for them both		      00 – 07 – 00
To: Linnon cloth for their winding & sheets & 
shirts seven yards worth Twelve 
pence per yard                                00 – 07 – 00
To: aile for both funnerials		      00 – 06 – 00
To: two pounds of candles		      00 – 09? – 00
To: two penny worth of pipes & four pence for 00 – 00 - 06      
tobacco
To: three Kissans of oat meal at twelve
pence for kissan for bread the nighs 
that corps were lodge in		      00 – 03 – 00
To: making graves for them both               00 – 02 – 00
To: all the kitchen that were given the
people at their Lodge past                    00 – 03 – 00
To the minister of the Parish for their burial fee 00 – 00 – 07

Paid six shillings [alination] for the heir & two pence  Octr 15th 1751
& his entering John Scarfe – by me Margtt Scarffe  The widow has on [made] 
widow my mrk X					   oath that the above
						   sum of £1-10-1 was
						   expended as above on the	
					           sd Children’s funeral.
