The Last Will & Testament of Dan.Caine 
of Balanaa within the parish of KK Michael 
who departed this life about the beginning of 
Decr.Anno Dni 1753. being of perfect mind & 
memory at the making hereof ~ 
First He committed his Soul to God & Body to 
Christian burial ~Item He left to his 
Grandson Philip Cain the one half of his sheep ~ 
To his son James Cain his left his Big Coat ~ 
To his Grand-daurs.Margt.Mary & Jane he left 
two sheets & a Blanket being in thereof wth.a shift of linen 
each. To his niece Cath.Cain an Ew Lamb of 
two years old ~ To his nephew Jon.Cain he left 
his modley Coat: and Lastly nominated & appoint: 
ed his Grandson Dan:Cain sole Exr.of all 
the rest of his goods movable & Immovable ~ 
Whatsoever.

At a Court of Correction holden at KK Michl.Feb.19.1754 
By Consent of parties Dan Caine the Execr.above 
named & James Caine Son of Testatr.are Sworn Joint Exrs. 
in Court in form of Law, & agree that Danl.Caine afore 
is to have a Feather bed & bolster wth.a great Coat 
to his own proper use, & the sd.James Caine to have 
all the rest of his shaped apparell to his own use 
& the remaining part of the Goods equally ~ 
between them & they likewise agree to pay his Debts 
& funeral Expenses, equall as also all the Legacies 
to The Testators Grandchildren equally between 
them pledges in form of Law are John 
Caine Junnr. & Thos.Caine Ballalhein

Nov.28th.1754 ~ Richd.Kelly enters a Claim agt.the 
Execrs.of Danl.Caine for the Sum of four shills. ~
