The last will and testament of John McNameer 
of BallaLane & parish of KK Andrews, who 
departed about the first day of April 1754, 
and was in perfect mind and memory at the 
making of it. 
First, he committed his soul to God and 
body to Christian burial. 
Item, to his loving wife he left his part 
of the cow, vizt., the little cow. 
Item, to his son John he left forty 
shillings legacy to be paid him when he 
arrives at 21 or 22 years of age, 
without any interest thereout. 
Item, to his said son he further left 
a loaghtyn coat, together with what 
sheep was his own, vizt., named upon him. 
Item, to his daughter Joney he left 
also twenty shillings legacy to be paid 
her when she arrives at the age of 21 or 
22 years without any interest thereout. 
To the witnesses of the will he left 
6 pence each. Lastly, he nominated and 
appointed his son William McNameer his 
lawful Executor of all the rest of his 
goods moveable and unmoveable whatsoever. 
Witnesses: 
John Kneale, 
William Teare. 

At a Chapter Court of Lezayre, 
June 11th, 1754: 
The Executor is sworn in Court in form of 
Law, and has given pledges for the payment 
of debts and legacies, namely John Kneal & 
William Tear, the witnesses of the will. 
Probatum est 
[signed] Ro: Radcliffe, Matths Curghey. 

April xx, 1760
John McNameer came this day to the 
Registry and acknowledged that he 
has received from his brother 
William the Executor the sum of 
thirty shillings being the legacy 
bequeathed to him by his Father 
John McNameer, as mentioned in 
the within will, and does therefore 
acquit and discharge him the said 
Executor of the same forever.

Joney McNameer came to the Registry and 
acknowledged that she is fully paid and 
satisfied by her brother William the 
Executor for the twenty shillings 
bequeathed to her by her father John 
McNameer, and does hereby acquit and 
discharge him of the same forever.
