The Last will & Testament of Tho.Corlett of the parish
of Ballaugh who departed this life ye.6th.of Appril ~
1755 ~ being of perfect mind and memory at the making
thereof ~ first he Committed his Soul to God and his
body to a Christian burial ~
Im.the first place he left & bequeath'd to his Children ~
begotten between him and Ann his last wife all his
right & title to all his purchased land Equaly betwixed
them, that is to say so many of them as are unmarryed
& unprovided for, and I do ordaine & appoint that my
forsd.wife shall have the benifit of all the sd.Land
during her life, and them the Same to return to my
sd.Children as afforesd. ~ Item he left to his Daughter
Catherine vizt.the Corvaly's wife a sheep & a Lamb ~
Item he left to his Son Thos.five Shillings or ? the
roof of the house his sd.Sonnow liveth in ~ and Declare
sd.that four pound is due unto him from his sd.Son Tho:~
Lastly he Constituted ordain'd and appointed his loving wife
Ann Corlett Alias Caly sole & whole Executrix of all
the rest of his goods movable & unmovable whatsoever
