Braddan
This is affirmed to be the last will and
testament of Averick Kelly als Creer of
the parish of KK Braddan who departed
this life at or abt the 4th day of May 1755
being in sound mind and memory at the 
making thereof
First she comitted her soul to God and
   her body to christian burial.
She left to her daughter in law Marjory Kelly
   a chest
She left to her grand daughter Ellinor Kelly
   a chest
She left to her grand daughter Bahee Cowley
   a pot and a big wheel
She left to her grandson & grand daughter
   Robt Kellys children ten shills to be given
   them when they came to age, which ten
   shills was to be lodgd in the hands of her
   son Thomas Kelly - and she left her said grand
   son half a sheep
She left to her son in law John Quine ten
   shills - she left to her son John two shills
   she appointed that her peticoats was to be dis-
   :tributed amoung her daughters and she left
   six pence legacy to all claimers.
Lastly she nominated & appointed her two
   sons Thos & Wm Kelly joint Executors of all
   the rest of her goods moveable & immoveable of
   what kind or nature so ever

At a Chapter Court at Douglas June 9th 1755
The Execrs are sworn in Court in form of law, & have
given pledges for payment of debts & legacies, namely
Nichs Quark & Wm Cowle, one of the witnesses of the
will.         Probatum est

KK Michl Sepr 2d 1763 Mary Kelly daughter of Robt Kelly & grandaughter of the
Testrx Averick Kelly came this day to the Registry & acknowledged to have
recd from her uncle Thos Kelly the sum of five shillings in full of the
legacy bequeathed her by her sd grand mother & acquits her sd uncle of
the same. Witness her mark to her name
This before me       Mary Kelly her X mark
