DONE 1 Douglas, 1754: This is affirmed by the subscribing witnesses to be the last will and testament of JANE BRIDSON ALS CORLET, who departed this life on the 30th of December anno predicto, being in perfect mind and memory at the making hereof. She bequeathed to her two CHILDREN JOHN AND ROBERT BRIDSON, the sum of fifteen pounds each. And nominated and constituted her loving HUSBAND JOHN BRIDSON sole and whole Executor of all the rest of her effects and chattels whatsoever. Witnesses: Alice Leawney, Katherine Caine. AT A COURT OF CORRECTION HOLDEN at Douglas Fe b 17, 1755, JOHN BRIDSON THE HUSBAND is sworn Executor in Court in form of Law, and undertakes the tuition of the children and their goods, and hath given pledges according to Law, namely CHRISTOPHER BRIDSON of Malew & JAMES HARRISON of Douglas. ISABEL CORLET THE AUNT is sworn supervisor.
