The Last Will and Testament of Thomas Mcylechreest of Kirk
German who departed this life about the 30th of December 1754 
being in perfect mind and memory of the making hereof
First he committed his Soul to Almighty God and his body to 
Christian Burial.
2ndly he left to his three children John, Margaret and William 
the sum of thirty shillings to be Equally between them Also he 
mentioned that if that money or Pay which formerly belonged to 
the School wouldn’t be recoverable and repaid for the year 
which the same have been kept Backward That then he left his 
[?] part thereof to his said Children aforesaid to be Equally 
between them Also if his said Children should dye that then all 
the said Goods or Effects should return to his loving wife 
Margaret.
Lastly he nominated and appointed his loving wife Margaret 
Mcylechreest alias Shimmin to be whole and Sole Executrix of 
all the rest of his goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever 
Excluding and Debarring any others that may pretend to claim 
further right with sixpence Legacy apiece.

At a Court correction held at Peeltown February 21 1755.
The Executor is sworn in Court in form of Law and has the 
Deads part of the Children and their goods in the mean time 
Committed unto her by Consent of Phil Mcylechreest and 
William Gell the Uncles who are sworn Supervisors of the 
orphans in form of Law and in order to assist the widow to 
support the Children their former Supervisor Consents to give 
and pay her the sum of fourteen shillings and the latter one bowl 
of Barley and this agreement to continue for one year from the 
Decease of the Testator and the Pledges for the widow in form of 
Law are Math Shimmin her brother and Philip Quillaim one of the Witnesses.
