This is affirmed to be the Last Will and Testament of Ellinor Fairbrother
of Laxey in KK Lonan — Who departed this life about the 2d of April 1756
being of Perfect Mind and Memory at the Making hereof
First she committed Her Soul unto God & Her Body to Christian burial
Item she left and bequeathed to James Skillicorne Son to Philip Skillicorne
of Laxey the House she lived in, The Dresser, The Bedstead, a Choice Pewtar
dish and Also Her part of what [..?..] sheep she had betwixt herself and
Robert Lewny together with Two yards of fledgin to make his said Son James
Skillicorne a Coat
Item she left to Philip Skillicorne's Daughter Margaret a Chest
Itm she left to William Corlett's wife Her Wearing Gown and Two of her
wearing Petticoats and one of the Blanketts that was on her Bed and an Old
fledge or coverlett and two Smocks together with Her Bed gown
Item she left and appointed that Philip Skillicorne aforesd shou'd keep the
House in repair until his Said Son wou'd be at age and the father to have
the benefit thereof
Itm she left to Wm Corlett's Son three quarters of a yard of fledgin to
make him a pair of breeches
Lastly she nominated and appointed Philip Skillicorne and Alice Stole Sole
& joint Execrs of all the rest of Her Goods & Effects moveable and
immoveable of what kind and Nature Soever
She left Six pence Legacy to any person or persons that might Claim any
right to her Effects
