In the Name of God Amen I John Corteen of the Town of Ramsey
but formerly of the parish of Kk Christ Lezaire in the Isle of Mann
(Taylor) but now being an Impress'd Sailor to go a Board of a Man of
War to serve his Majesty King George the Seacond, and Calling to
mind the mortality of this World Do make this to be my last Will and
Testament in Manner following.--------------
I committ my Soul to the Hands of Almighty God my maker and as
for my Body to be Buried in wheresoever it shall please him to order it.
I leave six pence each to my Brothr Thos Corteen & to my sisters
vizt Margt & Catharine Corteen --- And lastly I leave & Bequeath
all the rest of any Goods and Effects unto my Dear & Loving Wife --
Ann Corteen als Kinread be the same moveable or Immoveable and D[o]
likewise Nominate and appoint my sd Loving Wife Ann Corteen [als]
Kinread whole & sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament
