The last will and testament
of William Garret of Knockdoo in the parish of KK Michael
made and declared in presence of the subscribing witnesses August 10th 1757.
The testator being of perfect mind and memory commended his soul to God and
body to Christian burial.
To his daughter Margt Garrett he left and bequeath the feather bed whereon
she usually slept with the cloaths as also his pewter.
To said Margaret and his daughter Joney bequeathed all the yarn and wool in
the house with the sheets and blankets.
The unshaped linen in the house he left to his sons Robt, Philip, Dollin
and Wm Garret equally between them.
To he said daughter Margt he left a choice cow and to Joney aforsd her also
left a cow and forty shillings.
To his son Dollin he bequeathed three sheep and a choice coverlet.
To his son Robert three sheep.
To his son Philip he left two muttons which usually come to the fold and one
sheep.
To his son Patrick out of the Isle he left twenty shillings if he comes for
it.
To his son Robt he left the largest chest in the outhouse and to his son
Philip twenty shillings.
Lastly he appointed his son William Garrett sole executor of all the rest
of his goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever.
