This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Alice Caine also Teare
who departed this life the 24th of April 1758 being of perfect mind  and
memory at the making hereof.
INST:  She committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial. Also:
she left and bequeathed to her son William Caine forty shillings, a fledge
blanket and bolster - a fine sheet and coarse sheet.
Also: She left to her daughter Elinor all her apparel linen and woolen and
an heifer.
Also: She left to her granddaughter Alice Corlett ten shillings -
Also: She left to Mary Corlett her granddaughter ten shillings -
Also: She left to her grandson Patrick Caine an heifer in calf to begiven
unto him when he shall arrive at the age of twenty years but in case his
father shall died before he be that age then he is to take and have the
heifer immediately upon his fathers death.
Also:  She left to the witnesses to this will one shilling each.
LASTLY: She constituted and ordained her son David Caine executor of all the
rest of her goods movable and immovable wehatsoever.

At a Chapter Court holden in Jurby June 14,1758-
David Cain is sworn executor in court in form of law and hath given pledges
for payment of debts and legacies namely Thos Clucas and Thos Cleater both
of Jurby.
