John Callow, 1759

30  KK Maughold, 3rd February 1758
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament 
of John Callow of Ballacreggan in the parish of 
KK Maughold, being in perfect mind and memory 
at the making hereof. 
First he left his soul to God that gave it 
and his body to a Christian burial. 
Item, he left and bequeathed to all claimers 
six pence apiece legacy. 
Lastly, he constituted and appointed his 
grandson William Callow whole and sole executor 
of all the rest of his goods movable and 
immovable of what kind or nature soever.

At a Court of Correction holden at Lezayre March 5th, 1759, 
the Executor is sworn in Court in form of Law, 
and hath given pledges for payment of debts and legacies, 
namely Nicholas Corlet of Reber [or Keber] 
and Robert Curghey both of Lezayre
