Kirk Patrick

Thomas Key departed this life on or about the 
13th day of February last Intestate.  The Court 
having intelligence thereof hath Decreed his 
only Child namely Margaret Key sole Administrator 
of all his goods and Chattles moveable and 
imoveable whatsoever, who being under age, she 
with her goods are committed unto the Tuition 
of the Grand father Patrick Key who is sworn 
supervisor in form of Law, and is to bring a 
perfect Inventory to the Registry, and hath given 
pledges namely William Knickal miller, and 
John Knickal both of Kirk Patrick.  
The Widow is also sworn to render a just 
account of the Goods.

A True and perfect Inventory of the Goods and Effects 
of the late Deceased Thos. Key of Kirk Patrick made 
by us four sworn men vitz. William Cowley, John Corris, 
William Corris and William Cowil being charged and 
sworn by Thos. Quay Sumner of Kirk Patrick to apprize 
the said Goods which is as followeth.

Charged and sworn to apprize the Goods and Effects 
of the late Deceased Thos. Key which said Goods we 
have apprized all that came in our view as is within 
written as witness our names and marks this 17th 
of February 1759.

the Executor of the Last Will and Testament of 
Patrick Key the Guardian of my said  wife, 
the above sum of Six Pounds one shilling a twopence 
half penny due my said wife by the Death of her 
Father the said Thos. Key deceased and do 
exonerate acquit and discharge the said Thos. 
Cowley his Heirs Executor Administrators and 
Assigns of the [?] and any part thereof - 
As Witness my name and Mark this 6th Day of
