The last will and testament of Daniel Kaneen of the 
parish of KK Andrews, who departed this life about the 
9th day of April, 1759 and was in perfect mind and memory 
at the making thereof.
First he committed his Soul to God and body to Christian 
burial
Item He left to his loving wife Joney Kaneen the bed that 
was under him with a little wheel and some tow head.
Item He declared that he had some sheep betwixt himself 
and his Son Michael Kaneen
Item He left an ew lamb of sd. Sheep to his grand 
daughter Margt. Kaneen and appointed two muttons of the 
sd. Sheep to be expended towards his funeral.
Item He left to his son Mich. Kaneen aforesaid the 
remainder of the sheep as legacy.
Item He left to his grandson William Kaneen his part or 
share of the calfe
Item He left to his Daughter Christian Cannell, the wife of 
Charles Cannell of KK Michael seven pence legacy
Item He left to his daughter Esther Lace the wife 
of Peter Lace seven pence legacy
Item He left and bequeathed to his son and heir Daniel 
Kaneen a parcel of Curragh ground lying in the parish of 
Kirk Christ Lezayre to descend with his heirship with the 
rest of his lands.
Lastly he nominated and appointed his son and heir Daniel 
Kaneen afforesaid Sole Exec. of all the rest of his goods 
moveable and immoveable whatsoever.
To the witnesses of this will he left 12 pence each.

pledges for payment of debts and legacies namely Philip 
Wade and Wm. Sayle the witnesses of the Will
