This is affirmed by the Subscribing
Witnesses to be the Last Will & Testament
of Nicholas Corlet who Departed this
Life about the 16th.of Decembr.Anno pre-
dicto, being in perfect Mind and Memory
at the making hereof. ~
First He committed his Soul to God and Body to
Christian Burial. ~
Secondly He declared that John Jonghin of Castletown
owed him Eight Shillings English and four
Shills.Manks Value. That Wm.Mylrea of
Ballaugh owed him Shillings & Three
pence. That Wm.Killys of Lezayre owed
him Twelve Shillings. Wm.Quayle Sen~.of
Said Parish Twenty Three Shillings & Six Pence.
Michl.Kissaig of Said Parish Twenty eight Shills.
and Two pence. Thos.Cowley of Ballaugh Three
Pounds and the Interest. John Cottiman of said
Parish Two Pounds Thirteen Shills.and four pence.
John Myleacaine of said Parish Twenty five Shil-
lings. Edwd.Stephan of said Parish Two Pounds
and Seven Pence. David Crellin Seven Shills.and
Eleven Pence. That his Brother Ewan Corlet owed him a part
of his Brothers Goods. That John Mylrea
indebted to him. That the late decd.John
Tear of Balla Neddin owed him Nine Shills.
and five Pence. And that Robert Cowle
owed him Eleven Pounds Six Shillings &

And Lastly He nominated and appointed his loving Wife
Margaret Corlet als Stephan Sole and whole
Executrix of the Rest of his Goods moveable
and immoveable and Credits whatsoever ~

Jan.6th.1761. The Widow and Executrix gives
her Consent to the foregoing Will that her foresaid
Daughters Margaret and Elinor Corlet Shall
have the Sum or Value of five Pounds each
of her Proportion of Goods, after Twelve
Months after the Date hereof. And that her
Said Daughter Elinor shall have a Heifer of
Three Years old againnst May Next ensuing.

was indebted to Nicholas Corlet late of Ballaugh at the time of his
Death the Sum of five shillings. Ordered that the Deed's part of
sd.Sum be discharged & paid to Margaret Corlet Relict & Execrx.
of said Nicholas, subpoena Juris with all ffees. Matthw.Curghey

Gilbert Corlet of the parish of Lezayre acknowledging that
he was indebted to Nicholas Corlet late of Ballaugh at the
time of his Death the Sum of three shills.and a penny -
Ordered that the Dead's part thereof be paid to Margt.
Corlet Execrx.of sd.Nicholas subpoena Juris with all ffees~
To the Sumner of Lezayre &c. Matthw.Curghey
At Ballaugh July 10th.1761.
The following Disposition taken this day, upon a dispute between
Margaret Corlet of Ballaugh Exerx.of her Husband Nichs.Corlet, and Thomas
Cottier of Lazayre touching the time of Date & Commencement of
a Note of hand of ten Shills.from John Stephan of Lezayre to sd.Thos.
Cottier, which Note sd.Cottier passed to Nichs.Corlet ~
John Stephan Sworn & Examined deposeth, that there are four or five
years, being uncertain whether, since the Date of her sd.Note to sd.Cottier.
That sd.Cottier soon after passed sd.Note to sd.Nichs.Corlet which he
accepted of, who gave him the Deponent time for the payment & discharge
of the same, but upon non payment sd.Corlet charged him ? ? ?
Deconster; saith that previsions to sd.Charging, which was two years
last Winter or Spring, being uncertain whether, he the Deponent paid
seven shills.in part of sd.Note to sd.Corlet's Wife which sd.Corlet wd.not accept of as not
paid to himself; but on the day of appearing before the Demster, & upon
the Deponent's paying him sd.Corlet the remainder which was three
shills.the sd. Note was destroyed ~ Before me Matthw.Curghey

acknowledging that he was indebted to Nichs.Corlet late
of Ballaugh at the time of his Death the Sum of ten
shills. Ordered that the Dead's part thereof be discharged

William Sayle of Lezayre acknowledging himself indebted to
Margaret Corlet of Ballaugh, as Executrx.of her husband Nicholas
Corlet the Sum of one pound, tenshills. Ordered that the
Dead's part thereof be discharged, subpoena Juris will all ffees.
To the Sumner of Lezayre Matthw.Curghey
