   This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of John
   Kinread of Balla-cowill in the parish of KK Maughold, who
   departed this life on 24th day of Novr last, or thereabouts, being
   in perfect mind and memory at the making hereof.
First He committed his soul to God & his body to a christian burial.
Item, He left and bequeath'd unto his loveing wife, the one
   half of his heifer, and his half of the feather bed with bed cloath
Item He left and bequeath'd unto John Sayle (his son in law) all
   his share of the quarry tools, legacy.  Item, He left and
   bequeath'd unto his son John Kinread six pence legacy.
Lastly He nominated and appointed his dwo daughters, vizt
   Margt & Ellinor joint Executrixes of all the rest of his goods
   & effects os what kind or nature soever. And one shilling
   each to the witnesses hereeof

At a Court of Correction held in Lezayre March 26th 1760
The above thos Garret one of the witnesses having proved
the Contents of the above will, & no objection made, the
Exectxs are therefore sworn in Court in form of
law, & have given pledges for paymt of debts and
legacies, namely Ewan corlet of Lezayre & Thomas
Garret one of the witnesses of the will.
