82       Maughold
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of 
John Callow who departed this life the 26th of October 1761. 
First, he committed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial. 
Item, he bequeathed to his eldest son Edward all his 
right to the houses and land, or what right he might have. 
Item, he bequeathed to his son Robert twenty shillings legacy. 
Item, he bequeathed to his son John six pence legacy. 
Item, he bequeathed to his daughters Jane & Catherine six pence legacy each. 
Lastly, he did constitute and appoint his loving wife 
Jane whole and sole executrix of all the rest of his 
goods and chattels of what nature or denomination soever.

Grace Christian als Corkil, 
Easter Callow. 

At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre July 8, 1762, 
the executrix is sworn in Court in form of law 
and hath given pledges for payment of debts 
and legacies namely Thomas Mylworrey of 
KK Maughold & Edwd Callow shoemaker of Ramsey
