5      Santan
The last will and testament of Robert Leece 
of the parish of KK St. Ann is as follows
First, he being at perfect memory at the making 
hereof bequeathed his soul =to God and his 
body to Christian burial
Secondly, he left unto his son John Leece 
his best great coat. 
Item, he left unto his son James Leece 
the sum of five shillings. 
Item, he left to his son Robert Leece 
the sum of five shillings. 
Item, he left to his son William Leece 
the sum of three shillings. 
Item, he left to his daughter
Ellinor the sum of forty shillings. 
Item, he left to his daughter Isable one sheep. 
Item, he left to his son John Leece’s wife 
a sheep and a lamb, and to the witnesses
hereunto one shilling. 
Item, he left to the Revd Paul Crebbin 
Vicar of KK St. Anne one mutton; 
and six pence legacy to any person that 
will pretend to claim a right to any part 
of his goods; excepting his part of the 
riding horse which he left to his beloved wife. 
Lastly, he nominated and appointed his 
loving daughter Emma Leece sole executor 
of all the rest of his goods moveable and 
immoveable of what nature soever. 
And in testimony hereof the testator has 
caused his name and mark to be hereunto 
subscribed this 29th day of June 1761.
