2			Ramsey - 1763  
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament late 
of the Town of Ramsey declared and expressed in Hexen 
(Hexham) Goals in the county of Northumberland within the 
Kingdom of England, upon the 20th day of February 1757, 
being of perfect mind and memory at the making and 
declaring thereof.
First he committed his soul to God and his body to 
Christian burial as God almighty would be pleased to 
order it.
Item - he left and bequeathed all his goods and effects 
moveable and immoveable of what kind or nature soever, 
unto his only infant child called John, and in case the 
sd child should happen to die, that then his sd goods and 
effects, were to fall and descend to his loving wife Mary 
Cashin als Stole the sd child's mother
And lastly the sd Mother to be exec. in trust and to his 
brothers and sisters he left six pence a piece, and 
twelve pence to each witness of his will

At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre 19th Oct. 1763
Mary Cashin the widow, John Cashin the Testator, having 
had two children since the above will was made, named 
Margaret and Mary Cashin, that said children having no 
provision made for them by the above Will, they are 
therefore decreed Co_Exec. with their brother John 
Cashin, and all the Goods and Effects of their sd 
deceased father, and all the sd children being underage, 
the Uncles and Aunts on the father's side viz. Wm, 
Catherine, Marg., Mary and Jane Cashin are xxxxxxxxx 
Supervisors of the children.

Mary Cashin is sworn in court Exec. in trust, pursuant to 
the Will is ordered to bring to the Registry a true and 
perfect inventory of the Goods and Effects of her 
deceased husband, and hath given pledges for the payment 
of debts and legacies, namely Mr. Tho. Arthur Corlett of 
Lezayre & xxxxxx Christian of the Town of Ramsey.
