This being the Lsat Will & Testament of Ch-------[right upper corner missing] 
of Peeltown who departed this life about the 17th of -----[right upper corner missing].    
First, Committing his soul to Almighty God & his body to 
Christian burial.     
2dly, He left to his son Wm Cowil six pence legacy if he came to the Island.    
Lastly He nominated & appointed his loving daughter Isable Clucas als Cowil 
to be whole & sole Extrix: of all the rest of his goods moveable & 
immoveable whatsoever excluding any other person or persons that may pretend 
to claim further right to his goods with six pence legacy apiece. 

Witnesses present: 
John Mylechreest my X, 
Catharine Kaighin my X, Jurati.

At a Chapter Court at Balnyhowin in June 10th 1763: 
The Execx: is sworn in Court in form of Law and hath given pledges 
for paymt of debts & legacies vizt William Dawson Sumner & 
John McYlchreest the witness.
